- How are partial hours billed for the Pay-As-You-Go & Pay-Ahead
Programs?
For Pay-As-You-Go we round up to the nearest half hour with a one hour
monthly minimum. For Pay-Ahead we track actual accrued minutes.
- What is the average turnaround time for requested work?
The average turnaround time for requested work will be typically 1 to 2
business days unless contractually negotiated.
- How are expedited turnaround requests handled?
We will strive to complete all work expeditiously. However, we know that
there are extenuating circumstances that do arise and at those times, a
phone call is needed to apprise us of the situation and we will do
everything in our power to meet the client?s needs.
- How are requests opened with JE Admin?
Requests are opened via phone, fax, or email, whichever suits the
client.
- How are deliverables delivered to the client?
Deliverables will be delivered to the client per their instructions. If
it is left to our discretion, we will email what we can, and UPS that
which we cannot.
- How and when is postage paid for a mass mailing?
Postage is paid for by the client prior to the mailing. It is simple to
gauge the amount by simply multiplying the amount of people to receive
the mailing by the postage rate. We will take care of procuring the
postage unless other arrangements have been made.
- What applications/software is utilized by JE Admin?
We use Microsoft Office Suite 2007 which includes Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, Access, Accounting, Visio, and Publisher. We also use
Microsoft Project.
- How is the need for specialty software, client specific
software supported?
Any specialty software or client specific software will need to be
supplied by the client.
- What specific bookkeeping and accounting services are provided or
not provided?
We provide basic bookkeeping services such as the recording of accounts
payable and accounts receivable. We will make deposits, do billing, and
collection calls. We do not do SEC reports nor do end of month, quarter,
or annual reports.
- How are partial hours billed?
Actual hours are tracked and rounded to the nearest 5 min segment.
At the
end of the project the hours will be rounded to the nearest 15 minute
segment for billing purposes.
- What is the average turnaround time for requested quick (<5
min) site changes?
Turnaround time is 24 hours, but typically it can be done within a few
hours.
- What is the average turnaround time for a more significant
content update?
Once we have all the changes you want documented, a quote with the
expected time and estimated cost will be delivered within 24 hours. Once
approved we will start the work.
- How are expedited content change requests handled?
We make every effort to meet your turnaround expectations. If the
change needs to be completed ASAP we will, with an email
authorization, commence work immediately (usually within the hour)
and work continuously on it until it is complete.
The rate for expedited work is 1.5X our normal rate during normal
working hours. If we need to work into the night, the rate is 2X the
normal rate.
- How quickly are Administrative requests turned around?
Administrative tasks like adding new email accounts, pulling an adhoc
report, etc. are usually completed within 24 hours.
- How are requests opened with JE Web Hosting?
They can be opened with an email, opening an online ticket, or calling it in.
- How do I pick and register a Domain Name?
We can assist you with selecting a Domain Name or you can search for an
available Domain Name yourself. You can either use the automated system
to search and pay for the registration or we can acquire it for you and
bill you.
- Who owns my domain name?
You own your Domain Name. It will be completely registered in your name.
Jardins Enterprises will be designated as your technical contact for
management purposes only.
- Can I have animation, video, &/or music on my website?
Yes, you provide the content or we can acquire it for you and pass
on the cost.
- What kind of shopping cart support do you provide?
We will build your site using either PayPal's cart or Zen Cart.
Based on your requirements we will recommend which option will
better fit your needs.
- What kind of payment options can I support on my site?
We work exclusively with PayPal. PayPal offers various options for
payment collection & billing that do not require your customers to have a
PayPal account. We will help you select the most appropriate service and
will setup as much of the service for you as you feel appropriate.
- Will my site be unique or template based?
We have hundreds of graphical templates you can select as a starting
point for your site or we can build a custom site using standards based
technology. The choice is yours. We will provide the options, you make
the decisions.
